  • ACPS School Psychologist - Job Description -Anticipated opening for the 2024-2025 school year.  *$5,000 Signing Bonus* *$5,000 Relocation fees for out of state candidates*  Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university and must hold an Ed. S. Degree or equivalent from an approved program in school psychology or have otherwise qualified for VDOE licensure in the State of Virginia. Salary scale: $68,192 (Step 0)- $98,985 (Step 30).

  • ACES Reading Specialist 23-24 School Year - Job Description - An additional elementary reading specialist is being hired in preparation for the upcoming Virginia Literacy Act requirements beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with reading specialist endorsement and teaching license or eligibility for a reading specialist endorsement is required. 10 month position (200 days plus 10 additional days); Teacher Salary Scale for the 2023-2024 school year: Step 0 ($47,810)- Step 30 ($69,400); placement on the teacher salary scale is commensurate with experience; Master's supplement is $2,275; Doctorate supplement is $3,250.

  • ACMS Spanish Teacher 23-24 School Year - Job Description - Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate subject endorsement, teaching license required. 10 month position (200 days); Teacher Salary Scale for the 2023-2024 school year: Step 0 ($47,810)- Step 30 ($69,400); placement on the teacher salary scale is commensurate with experience; Master's supplement is $2,275; Doctorate supplement is $3,250.

  • ACHS CTE Marketing Teacher 23-24 School Year - Job Description - Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate subject endorsement, teaching license required or eligibility for provisional licensure by passing the High School Marketing Praxis Test (5561). 10 month position (200 days plus 5 additional days for DECA); Teacher Salary Scale for the 2023-2024 school year: Step 0 ($47,810)- Step 30 ($69,400); placement on the teacher salary scale is commensurate with experience; Master's supplement is $2,275; Doctorate supplement is $3,250. 

Part-time Homebound Teacher - Must possess or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license; Part-time position; Pay-rate $30 per hour.

Amelia Nottoway Technical Center Openings:

  • ANTC Building Trades Teacher - Plans, delivers and evaluates interaction based upon specific standards and objectives established by ANTC for building trades, carpentry, electrical, masonry and plumbing. Establishes and maintains a classroom environment that is supportive of students intellectual, physical emotional and social well being so that each student may experience success.  Monitors use of materials, equipment and resources.
