Hello Tiger Families! My name is Lisa Davis and I am honored to be the Principal of Amelia County Elementary School and part of Team Amelia!

I graduated from Longwood College in 2000 with a degree in Elementary Education. While teaching in Lynchburg City Schools, I earned a Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia. My 14 years of teaching includes 8 years in the classroom for grades K-2 and 6 years as an Instructional Technology Specialist for grades K-5. I completed six years as an administrator in Chesterfield County Public Schools.

I was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA. In my free time, my husband Kevin and I enjoy watching our son, Carson play travel soccer and watching our daughter, Anna Claire cheer competitively. Our family also loves attending UVA sporting events, GO HOOS!

I truly believe that all students can learn and be successful. My priority as an administrator is to ensure that all students feel safe and welcome at school. I will strive to build positive relationships with our students, staff and community members to create a safe and secure environment.
