Good Morning ACHS Parents and Guardians! ACHS had an unscheduled fire drill this morning due to a faulty water flow switch. The Amelia Sheriff's Dept. responded to the call and walked the building. Our maintenance department and an outside vendor are on site to assess and make repairs. Thank you for your support!

Good morning Team Amelia! Amelia County Public Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay today (Friday, January 19, 2024) due to ice and snow on northern roads in the county. ACPS will reassess road conditions at 7 AM and report changes, if any, by 8 AM.

Team Amelia: Good evening! Due to anticipated heavy rains and high winds starting early afternoon, ACPS will have an early dismissal tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/9/24). ACHS will dismiss at 12:30 P.M. ACMS will dismiss at 12:40 P.M. ACES will dismiss at 12:50 P.M. Parents of students who ride the bus should be prepared to meet their child's bus at the appropriate time tomorrow, due to the early dismissal. All 12 month employees may leave once all buses have cleared tomorrow afternoon. Please be safe and have a nice evening!
